一般社団法人日本貴金属マーケット協会（以下「本協会」といいます。）は、個人情報の重要性を認識し、これを保護することを社会的責務と考えています。
本協会が事業目的を達成していく上で保有する個人情報の取扱いについては、下記の方針に従って、その適切な取扱いに万全を尽くします。
１．関係法令等の遵守
本協会は、個人情報の取扱いにあたっては、「個人情報の保護に関する法律」等関係法令を遵守し、個人情報の保護に努めます。
２．個人情報の取得、利用、提供
- 個人情報の取得は、本協会の業務上必要な範囲内で、適正かつ適法な手段により行います。また、第三者からの提供により個人情報を取得する場合は、提供元の法令遵守状況を確認するとともに、当該個人情報が適法に取得されたものであることを確認します。
- 本協会は、法令に基づく場合等のほか、以下の利用目的の達成に必要な範囲で個人情報を取り扱います。
- 貴金属マーケットに関する調査研究業務
- 貴金属マーケットに関する広報啓発業務
- 貴金属マーケットに関する研修・セミナー等の告知
- 本協会の組織運営に関する業務
- あらかじめご本人の同意がある場合、また、法令に基づく場合等を除き、特定された利用目的の達成に必要な範囲を超えて、個人情報を取り扱いません。
3．第三者提供
本協会は、次に掲げる場合を除くほか、あらかじめ本人の同意を得ないで、個人データを第三者に提供いたしません。ただし、個人情報保護法その他の法令で認められる場合を除きます。
- 法令等に基づく場合
- 人の生命、身体又は財産の保護のために必要がある場合であって、本人の同意を得ることが困難であるとき。
- 公衆衛生の向上又は児童の健全な育成の推進のために特に必要がある場合であって、本人の同意を得ることが困難であるとき
- 国の機関若しくは地方公共団体又はその委託を受けた者が法令の定める事務を遂行することに対して協力する必要がある場合であって、本人の同意を得ることにより当該事務の遂行に支障を及ぼすおそれがあるとき。
4．委託先の監督
本協会は、特定された利用目的の達成に必要な範囲内において、他の事業者へ個人データの取扱いを委託する場合は、個人情報の安全管理が図られるよう委託先の適切な選定及び委託先に対する必要かつ適切な監督を行います。
5．開示等の請求
本協会は、ご本人に係る保有個人データに関して、ご本人から開示、訂正、削除、利用停止等のご請求等があった場合には、ご本人であることを確認させていただき、適切かつ迅速な対応に努めます。
6．安全管理措置
本協会は、個人データの漏えい、滅失又は毀損の防止その他の安全管理のため、必要かつ適切な安全管理措置を講じるとともに、役職員及び委託先の適切な監督を行います。
7．継続的改善
本協会は、個人情報の適正な取扱いを図るため、個人情報保護宣言（プライバシー・ポリシー）及び個人情報保護に関する規定等を定め、その実効性が継続されるよう、役職員への周知や適宜見直しを行う等、継続的な改善に努めます。
8．個人情報の取扱いに係る苦情・相談の窓口
本協会は、ご本人からお寄せいただいた個人情報に係る苦情･相談等に対し、迅速かつ誠実な対応に努めます。

Privacy Policy
The Japan Bullion Market Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Association”) recognizes the importance of personal information and considers the protection of such information to be an important social responsibility.
The Association will make every effort to handle personal information appropriately in accordance with the following policy when using personal information held by the Association in the course of achieving its business objectives.
1. Compliance with Applicable Laws and Regulations
The Association will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws and regulations concerning the handling of personal information and will endeavor to protect personal information appropriately.
2. Acquisition, Use, and Handling of Personal Information
(1) Acquisition of Personal Information
The Association will acquire personal information through appropriate and lawful means and only to the extent necessary for its operations.
When acquiring personal information from a third party, the Association will confirm that the provider complies with applicable laws and regulations and that the personal information has been lawfully obtained.
(2) Purposes of Use
Except where otherwise permitted or required by law, the Association will handle personal information only to the extent necessary to achieve the following purposes:
- Conducting research and studies relating to the precious metals market
- Conducting public relations and educational activities relating to the precious metals market
- Providing information and announcements regarding training programs, seminars, and other events relating to the precious metals market
- Conducting activities relating to the administration and operation of the Association
(3) Use Beyond the Specified Purposes
Except where the prior consent of the individual has been obtained or where otherwise permitted or required by law, the Association will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the specified purposes of use.
3. Provision of Personal Data to Third Parties
The Association will not provide personal data to any third party without the prior consent of the individual concerned, except in the following circumstances or where otherwise permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations:
- Where required by laws or regulations
- Where necessary to protect a person’s life, physical safety, or property, and obtaining the individual’s consent is difficult
- Where particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and obtaining the individual’s consent is difficult
- Where it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, local public authority, or a person entrusted by such an authority in performing duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the individual’s consent may interfere with the performance of those dutie
4. Supervision of Service Providers
When the Association entrusts another business operator with the handling of personal data within the scope necessary to achieve the specified purposes of use, the Association will appropriately select the service provider and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure the secure management of personal information.
5. Requests for Disclosure and Other Procedures
When the Association receives a request from an individual for the disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use, or other handling of retained personal data concerning that individual, the Association will verify the identity of the person making the request and endeavor to respond appropriately and promptly.
6. Security Management Measures
The Association will implement necessary and appropriate security management measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of personal data and to otherwise ensure the secure management of personal information.
The Association will also appropriately supervise its officers, employees, and service providers who handle personal data.
7. Continuous Improvement
To ensure the appropriate handling of personal information, the Association will establish this Privacy Policy and other relevant rules concerning the protection of personal information.
The Association will continuously improve its personal information protection practices by informing its officers and employees of these rules and reviewing them as necessary to maintain their effectiveness.
8. Complaints and Inquiries Concerning Personal Information
The Association will endeavor to respond promptly and sincerely to complaints, consultations, and other inquiries submitted by individuals concerning the handling of their personal information.
